Synopsis
Max Dokuchie, Senior Legal Counsel for the First Nations Health Authority, will present on various issues facing First Nations communities related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the various roles of the First Nations Health Authority. Among other issues, Max will discuss privacy, jurisdiction and the various roles played by First Nations leadership, Provincial health bodies, and the FNHA.

This event will be broadcast from the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Musqueam First Nations. We encourage members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada past and present.
