ONLINE MEETING: Guardian Against Undue Influence - A Lawyer's Role from the Office to the Courtroom
This meeting is being hosted by the Wills & Trusts - Vancouver Section.

Tara Britnell, QC, of Hamilton Duncan, will be presenting on the topic of undue influence and discussing her role in Seifred v. Arnold, 2021 BCSC 278, a hotly contested committeeship application involving a Nomination of Committee alleged to have been made under undue influence. Tara will offer practical tips for both solicitors and litigators - including how to guard against undue influence when planning and how to bring solicitor's evidence into court when the client is not capable of waiving solicitor-client privilege.

Natasha Liu, of DLA Piper, will present a case comment on Sherman Estate v. Donovan, 2021 SCC 25.
