Synopsis
Do your clients face administrative law proceedings that overlap in criminal or civil matters? Join David Butcher QC and Greg DelBigio QC, two of BC’s most experienced counsel in this area, to learn about the unique and sometimes complex issues that arise in parallel proceedings.
The speakers will discuss strategies for managing such cases and some of the unique tactical and evidentiary considerations at play when dealing with these overlapping areas of the law. For non-criminal lawyers who represent clients involved in administrative/regulatory proceedings where the client may also face potential criminal legal jeopardy, they speakers discuss some of the issues you need to be aware of to navigate such situations effectively.
Territorial Acknowledgement
This event will be broadcast from the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Musqueam First Nations.
