Victoria Social
This meeting is being hosted by the SOGIC Section.

Time: Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 6:30pm - 7:30pm (Pacific Time)
Location: Peacock Billiards & James Joyce Bistro, 1175 Douglas St Unit C, Victoria, BC V8W 2E1
Note: Please note that the cost of the pool tables will be divided equally amongst all participants and added to your bill at the end of the evening.

Please join us for an evening of pool and socializing at the Peacocks Billiards in Downtown Victoria! This is the first IN-PERSON social SOGIC has had the opportunity to host in Victoria since the before times, so we hope you can join us!

The plan is to play pool from 6:30-7:30 and then move over to the lounge area to continue socializing. We have booked 3 pool tables and we can keep these for as long as we want to, so if people prefer to keep playing pool rather than moving to the lounge then that is an option. Articling and law students are welcome :) When you arrive please ask for the CBA SOGIC tables.

Territorial Acknowledgement
This event takes place on the traditional and unceded territory of the Lekwungen speaking peoples, particularly the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEC First Nations. We encourage members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada past and present.
