11:30-12:30pm  |  Finding Wellness in your Practice
Lawyers are more likely to experience challenges to their wellbeing than almost any other profession. And this is especially true for family law lawyers. Despite the challenges faced, lawyers are often reluctant to talk about this issue or even seek support. This session explores the stressors of managing the personal and professional demands of a family law practice and how to carve out space to take care of yourself. A healthy you supports a healthy practice!

Shari Pearlman, Assistant Director & Lawyer Counsellor, Lawyers Assistance Program

1:30-2:30pm |  Recent Employment Law Trends & Developments
Join us for an insightful discussion on recent employment law trends with Chris Drinovz, employment lawyer at KSW Lawyers. Learn about notable decisions on termination clauses, restrictive covenants, human rights, and gain insight into important legislative updates to the Workers Compensation Act and Labour Relations Code. This session will help you stay up to date on the latest developments in the field.
