Synopsis
Join us for Part 3 of Hearing From Children in Family Law Matters.
Zahra Jenab joined the Roster of the BC Hear the Child Society ten years ago, and the Board of the Society a year later. As the current chair of the Society, Zahra details the guiding principles of the Society, as well as the key points regarding conducting a non-evaluative Hear the Child interview. Zahra also discusses the distinctions between the non-evaluative and evaluative interview and report processes. Such information will include:
- What is the difference between a views of the child report and hear the child report?
- What does an order need to say when counsel is requesting a hear the child report?
- What is the process once a report is ordered/agreed upon (intake, interviews, drafting, completion)
