Synopsis

Paul Peterson and David Cunnigton discuss land trusts and charities working with federal and provincial legislation for the conservation of natural landscapes. 

About the Speakers

Paul Peterson is a lawyer working with The Nature Conservancy of Canada and with other land conservation organizations and land owners on land conservation projects across the country. He works from his home in Kelowna, B.C.

David Cunnington is a biologist and is the BC Ecological Gifts Program Coordinator with Environment and Climate Change Canada.  He assists donors of ecologically sensitive land to access significant income tax benefits, provides support to recipient Land Trusts, and has been involved in approximately 140 donations of land and conservation covenants across British Columbia. He lives in the Southern Gulf Islands.
