ABOUT THIS EVENT

Join your colleagues as we welcome Lee Nevens (they/them) as the President for the 2024-2025 term. Lee is a long-time advocate for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and a trailblazer in the legal profession. They are the first transgender lawyer elected as the CBABC President and the first non-binary Branch President in all of the Canadian Bar Association.

Enjoy an evening of canapés and a cash bar in the company of distinguished guests and colleagues. Lee Nevens will also deliver a short speech outlining their priorities and vision for the upcoming presidential year.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate diversity, inclusion, and progress within our legal community. Your presence will contribute to the vibrant and supportive atmosphere of the evening.
