About the Speaker

Deanna Rivers attended law school at the University of Victoria, and graduated with an LL.B. in 1995. She was called to the bar of British Columbia in February 1996, after articling with the law firm of Anniko Hunter, where she practiced until 2001.

Joining Stevenson Luchies & Legh in 2003, Ms. Rivers practices in the areas of estate planning (wills, powers of attorney and representation agreements), estates (including probate and non-probate estates), and real estate. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria Law School, teaching Succession and Estate Planning.
