Elaine Tham explains the process of private company mergers and acquisitions, starting from the first client meeting, through the Letter of Intent (LOI), due diligence and the purchase agreement, to the final closing of the deal. The session is tailored to those seeking foundational knowledge, guiding them through key transactional milestones: negotiating the LOI and purchase agreement, managing buyer and seller expectations, conducting due diligence and ensuring a successful closing. By mapping out common challenges and practical tips for each stage, the session empowers participants with the essential frameworks and tools needed for effective participation in private company M&A deals.
