Drawing on his background as a recognized specialist in chemical dependency,
Dr. Rob Baker speaks on drug and alcohol testing and the role of test results in family court. His experience includes providing expert testimony for inquiries, courtroom testimony and lectures at numerous seminars on addiction.
About the Speaker
Dr. Rob Baker is a duly qualified physician licensed to practice medicine in BC since 1980; he is certified by the International Society of Addiction Medicine (I.S.A.M.) as well as the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine (C.S.A.M.) and has completed multiple post-graduate training programs in the field of Addiction Medicine. He is a recognized expert in the field of chemical dependency; he has provided expert testimony in various inquiries and courts of law as well as lectured at numerous addictions related seminars.
Dr. Baker is an active member of the medical staff at the Royal Inland Hospital. He provides addiction medical services to Sage Health Centre, Phoenix Centre Detox Unit and Kamloops Community Mental Health and Substance Use as well as other agencies. In his private practice, Dr. Baker conducts Independent Medical Evaluations and oversees Arbutus Work Solutions which medical monitoring program as required by corporations, unions and other professional bodies. Additional in house medical services include medical assessment, testing/treatment.
