Shaun Sinclair spotlights overlooked insurance exposures that arise in ordinary life which lead to uncovered losses. Topics include limitations on valuables and collectibles, insurance exclusions, multi generational auto considerations and personal risk issues including insurance for renovations and selling a vacant home.
Speaker Bio
For the past fifteen years, Shaun has served as Program Head, General Insurance and Risk Management at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In this role, he leads curriculum design and program management, teaches core courses, and collaborates with industry leaders to align the program with market needs. He holds an MBA from SFU and has completed executive studies at the Rotman School of Management. Shaun is the President of the BC Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society and is a former President of the Insurance Institute. Before joining BCIT, he directed national risk and claims management for a major telecommunications company.
