Intellectual property practitioners increasingly navigate matters that span multiple jurisdictions, and the differences between legal systems can significantly shape strategy. This panel explores five key differences between the Canadian and South Korean IP regimes that are most relevant to practitioners. Sooho Lee and Jayde Wood share practical insights drawn from their experience advising clients in both jurisdictions. The discussion highlights how these differences affect portfolio management, enforcement strategy, and collaboration between counsel in Canada and South Korea, offering attendees strategic considerations for protecting rights across borders.
