As the province's condo market experiences ongoing turbulence into 2026, the presales market gives rise to a distinct and increasingly active area of litigation.
Camelia Alikashani, Layne Hellrung, Nerissa Yan, and Wes McMillan address a discrete topic arising from presale disputes. Their discussion focuses on practical considerations, recent case law, and strategic insights for counsel acting for purchasers, developers, or other stakeholders.
The section meeting is intended for real estate practitioners who may encounter presale issues in their practices, as well as those seeking a deeper understanding of this evolving area of practice. The panel concludes with a question-and-answer period, offering attendees the opportunity to raise issues and engage directly with the panelists.
