TOPIC: Family Law and Legal Aid Manitoba - How can it work for you!
SPEAKERS:  Peter Kingsley, K.C., Legal Aid Manitoba - Administrative Office
Kendra Goertzen, Loewen & Martens

This session will include an explanation of the NEW Legal Aid Tariff for Family Law Matters by a Senior Manager of Legal Aid Manitoba followed by a discussion with Ms. Kendra Goertzen a Senior Family Law practitioner on how to successfully include Legal Aid files in your practice.  An open question and answer period will follow where counsel can learn how to grow their practices through legal aid work.

At approximately 9:30am on Monday, December 12, 2022 an email will be sent from the MBA advising you of the link that you will click on to join the Zoom video conference meeting.  So it will be important to register before 5:00pm on Friday, December 9, 2022.

Attendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba’s Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of one hour.
