NOTICE OF MEETING

DATE: Wednesday, February 25, 2026
TIME: 12:00pm - 1:30pm
LOCATION: MLT Aikins, Main Boardroom, 30th Floor – 360 Main Street, Winnipeg
TOPIC: Supply Chain Practices for In-House Counsel

With talk of major projects and the continued evolution of global trade, geopolitical pressures and shifting business priorities – including the increasing adoption of technology across core business functions – corporate supply chain and procurement departments and their legal teams have been stretched thin in responding to a changing environment for both purchasers and suppliers.

Join two MLT Aikins lawyers – Danielle Graff (technology & IP) and Andrew Konopelny (construction & infrastructure) – as they share their experience in assisting corporate clients in their respective industry sectors with their sales and purchasing functions amid these broader business and technological trends. Topics discussed will include new procurement and supply chain approaches, trade considerations, and how legal can be involved in driving best value from supply chain and procurement activities.

Registration is required for this In-person event. Please RSVP (link above) to the Manitoba Bar Association. Lunch will be provided.

Attendance at this MBA Section meeting can be applied towards your Law Society of Manitoba's Continuing Professional Development requirement for a maximum of 1.5 hours
