The CBA Competition Law Section's Legislation and Competition Policy Committee presents:

From Bid Analytics to Bounties: Non-Leniency Techniques for Detecting Bid-Rigging and Cartel Conduct

January 7, 2019 | 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Eastern | Teleconference

Well publicized immunity and leniency programs are the lynchpin of cartel enforcement efforts worldwide.  But what of other means to detect and deter cartel conduct?  Join our panel of experts to hear about less often discussed enforcement techniques, such as procurement analytics and whistleblower initiatives, employed in Canada and abroad to prevent and detect bid-rigging and other cartel behaviour.  How prevalent are these tools?  Are they successful? How do they fit with other accepted cartel enforcement methods?  Join us on January 7th to find out.
