The “nuts and bolts” for immigration litigators. These sessions will focus on building proficiency in the procedural knowledge litigators need when appearing before the Federal Court or the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, Refugee Protection Division, Immigration Division and Immigration Appeal Division, including COVID realities, filing digitally, submissions and virtual hearings. Templates and examples of best practices will be shared in each session.

We will kick off with a discussion on general immigration litigation topics. At 12:15pm the session will split into two breakout sessions, one focusing on IRB practice and the other on the Federal Court.
