8:00pm Newfoundland “Screech-In” hosted by McInnes Cooper

Location:
O’Reilly’s Irish Newfoundland Pub

13 George St., St. John’s, NL, A1C 1M3

A “screech-in” is a Newfoundland tradition where non-Newfoundlanders (called “come from aways” or “mainlanders”) are initiated into the local culture by reciting a few local lines, kissing a codfish, and drinking a shot of Newfoundland Screech rum.

McInnes Cooper is proud to host this event and invites all attendees of the CBA National Insolvency Conference to come check out the world famous George Street, featured in many songs, stories, and tall tales for its two blocks of restaurants and pubs, and experience Newfoundland hospitality first hand.
