Join us for a fireside chat with the Honourable Andromache Karakatsanis, Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, as she reflects on her distinguished career in public service. While many know Justice Karakatsanis through her work on Canada’s highest court, she also spent 15 years in the Ontario Public Service, including serving as Deputy Attorney General and Secretary of the Cabinet and Clerk of the Executive Council. Drawing on this unique experience, Justice Karakatsanis will share insights into the role of government lawyers, public interest advocacy, ethical decision-making, and leadership in the public sector. The conversation will offer valuable perspectives on the many ways lawyers can contribute to public service and help shape public institutions throughout their careers.
