Nov. 22, 2023
Fredericton Online

  November 22, 2023 • 12 pm – 1:30 pm (ATL) • Webcast (zoom)

This webcast will provide an overview of the various options for companies that are considering an initial public offering (“IPO”) (ex., the long-form and the short-form prospectus).

The webcast will include both an overview of the regulatory framework that underpins the IPO process and the pros and cons of becoming a listed company, or “reporting issuer.”

Jason will draw from his past experience as a securities regulator and will provide an overview of the regulatory framework underpinning IPOs and the continuous disclosure obligations for publicly traded companies, while Andrew will provide his first-hand take on serving as in-house counsel for New Brunswick’s largest publicly-traded company.

This webcast is essential for business lawyers looking to gain a better understanding of the pros and cons of going public and the day-to-day reality for companies once they become reporting issuers.
