Unconscious bias exists in everyone and exists in law. We all have it, and sometimes, this bias along with the microaggressions it can lead to have a significantly negative impact on individuals and organizations. Impacts include decreased morale, exclusion, increased attrition rates and difficulty recruiting, and a loss of the potential to benefit from the increased creativity and productivity that an inclusive workplace can generate. In this session, participants will learn about unconscious bias and microaggressions in law and beyond and their impacts while gaining an increased awareness of their own unconscious bias, one of the most important steps in addressing unconscious bias and how to reduce the microaggressions that can sometimes unwittingly stem from it.

AGENDA
