Temporary Foreign Workers in Nova Scotia: Regulatory Framework and A2J Challenges

In this webinar we will discuss the regulatory framework around TFWs in Nova Scotia and highlight some of the laws that keep these workers in vulnerable positions. We will also outline the legal protections and rights that they do have, including under the Labour Standards Code. We highlight, however, that there are access to justice obstacles to accessing these rights that are important for the Nova Scotia bar to be aware of.
