The CBA-NS Sexual and Gender Diversity Alliance Section (SAGDA) invites you to march in the Halifax Pride Parade on Saturday, July 18 alongside fellow members of the legal community.
We look forward to coming together and showing support for 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion, and celebrating diversity, equity, and belonging within the profession and beyond. Members, families, friends, and allies are all welcome to participate - we encourage you to bring along your partners, families, friends to march in the parade!
Our float number is D13 and our meeting time is 11:00 am. The meeting location is on Cogswell Street, in row D, which is just alongside the Commons Pool. For more information on the parade route, visit HalifaxPride.ca.
Our group will be walking the parade route, so we encourage you to wear comfortable footwear and sunscreen, and to make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day. We will have a vehicle in our entry, as well, for folks to take breaks in as needed.
We’ll have a selection of signs and Pride flags available for participants. Feel free to wear your brightest colours.
