For the past couple of years, we have had two phenomenal speakers at our Year End Dinners:  Mr. Alan Lenczner and The Honourable Mr. Justice David M. Brown of the Superior Court of Justice (and the Commercial List).  Both of them spoke passionately about the need to overhaul the procedural aspects of our civil justice system. 

The Honourable Mr. Justice Geoffrey B. Morawetz of the Superior Court of Justice, who is also the Regional Senior Judge of the Toronto Region, is well-known to civil litigators.  His initiatives reflect a concerted effort to identify ways of maximizing both facilities and judicial resources for a more timely and cost-effective civil justice system.

To “close the loop”, so to speak, on this trilogy of civil justice reform speakers, Justice Morawetz will provide his further insights and comments on possible changes to the civil justice system.
