Oct. 3, 2017
Toronto ON

OBA Construction and Infrastructure Law PROGRAM | 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

The construction industry has changed substantially since 1983, but no substantial amendments have been made to the Construction Lien Act since that time. In response to a request from the Government of Ontario, Bruce Reynolds and Sharon Vogel provided a report in April 2016, entitled “Striking the Balance: Expert Review of Ontario’s Construction Lien Act” and their numerous recommendations have led to Bill 142, An Act to Amend the Construction Lien Act.

Join us as our highly experienced faculty navigate and analyze Bill 142, its proposed changes. It is critical that you know how the proposed amendments will affect your clients and your practice. We will delve into how this will happen, and provide you with clarity on how this new Act will affect your industry and your daily work.
