OBA Law Practice Management PROGRAM | 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM
Norman Bacal writes about the fall of the once highly successful law firm. Mr. Bacal, who spent 16 years as it's managing partner until a year before the demise, brings this story to life, telling about its having grown from a small local firm with a Toronto startup in 1989 to one of the most well known brands in the country. In his book, Mr. Bacal writes about the importance of leadership and its connection to firm culture and vision in building strong organizations and how fragile the balance can be. During this hour with Mr. Bacal, we will have a chance to explore the elements that destroyed the firm and how to avoid the pitfalls.
