OBA Labour & Employment Law PROGRAM | 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Join us on April 8th 2019, for an intimate fireside chat with the Honourable Laurie Scott, Ontario’s Minister of Labour. This event will provide for an opportunity to obtain information regarding the government’s labour and employment work to date, including the passage of Bill 47, Making Ontario Open for Business Act, 2018 and the government’s consultation on pay transparency. We will also hear the Minister’s goals and agenda for 2019 and beyond. It promises to be a memorable evening with beverages, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
*Should attendees wish to hear updates on any particular Ministry of Labour topic or if you have any questions you would like considered as part of the fireside chat, please email them to ldowsley@oba.org, prior to March 31, 2019. While best efforts will be made to incorporate suggested topics of interest and relevant questions, due to time constraints and potential varied areas of interest from attendees, not all will be incorporated into the program.
