In a Pinch Child Care at the OBA

The OBA is providing a venue at the OBA Conference Centre for In a Pinch to provide care services.  The OBA Conference Centre is conveniently located at 20 Toronto Street near the intersection of King and Yonge.

In a Pinch will have care providers at the OBA Conference Centre from 8:00am to 5:00pm for the week starting October 7, 2019. Please note that pre-registration is required and no drop-in service will be available. 

The In a Pinch service at the conference centre is available only to OBA members. 

The cost is $65.00 per day per child and it is our understanding that In a Pinch will be providing one caregiver for every five children.  The OBA will not be providing or monitoring the provision of care by In a Pinch. Please note that fees will be paid to In a Pinch and will not be retained by the OBA.

Members may select the days they require In a Pinch’s care.  Space is very limited so register early.  In a Pinch has advised that they will require a final total for Monday registration by 12:00 noon on Sunday, October 6, in order to provide a sufficient number of caregivers.  As a result, registration will close at 12:00 noon on Sunday for Monday care.

Children will be required to bring their own lunches and snacks. We understand that In a Pinch does not provide meals, snacks or refreshments and that children will be required to bring their own lunches and snacks.  While the OBA Conference Centre is not a nut free facility, please avoid packing nuts in lunches in case there are other clients in the conference centre who have sensitivities.
