OBA Taxation Law PROGRAM | Original Program Date: August 19, 2020

On July 27th, 2020, Bill C-20, An Act respecting further COVID-19 measures received royal assent. As government measures in place to assist Canadians are constantly evolving during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it makes it challenging to stay up-to-date on the tax implications of those measures. Our stellar panel will guide you through the various aspects of the legislation for further COVID-19 measures, including the changes to legislative time limits and changes to the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) for Canadian workers and businesses. In addition, our speakers will cover the procedures in place for the reopening of the Tax Court, including timeline adjustments.
