OBA Constitutional, Civil Liberties & Human Rights / Labour & Employment Law PROGRAM | 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM (ET)

As workplace investigations have become more commonplace, employers are now faced with a multitude of considerations both in the selection of an investigator and how the investigation will be conducted. Join us to hear about helpful considerations to take into account in determining whether or not a trauma-informed investigation may be appropriate, and some factors to consider in the selection of an investigator. Our expert faculty will walk you through some of the complex issues that employers, as well as investigators, should consider in conducting their investigations, including:

  • Factors relevant to a trauma-informed investigation and whether such an investigation is appropriate in the circumstances;
  • How microaggressions can manifest in the workplace; and,
  • Unconscious bias and the social location of the investigator.

Both junior and senior investigators and counsel will benefit from the insights of our expert faculty as they share the intricacies of each of these considerations for workplace investigations.

Do not miss out on this opportunity to have your questions answered!
