OBA Elder Law and Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity (SOGIC) PROGRAM
Original Program Date: February 24, 2021

Join us as we bring together LGBTQ and Elder Law practitioners for a critical discussion of key legal issues that arise for LGBTQ+ individuals as they age, including long term care, wills and estates, as well as pension and benefit concerns.

This discussion is designed for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies, and Elder Law practitioners looking to better serve LGBTQ+ clients and their families. You will gather helpful advice for navigating common legal issues that arise as members of this community age.

Our expert faculty will share valuable insights on:

  • substitute decision making and estate planning considerations for LGBTQ+ people and their families
