With the global challenges facing today’s construction markets, industry stakeholders continue to seek ways to tweak, re-tool or even re-invent both traditional and alternative project delivery models. The tried and tested Public-Private Partnerships (P3) model utilized in Ontario for the last two decades has not been immune to this trend. Even the implementation of only marginal changes to a well-established project delivery model can lead to challenges for construction and infrastructure lawyers on front-end contract negotiations and, invariably, to disputes on the back end.

Join us for a program where our expert panel will walk through the key features of the next evolutionary iteration of the Design-Build and P3 models: After taking a glimpse into the future, our panel will take a step back to current times to discuss project financing through a P3 lens. Including, from the perspective of project lenders. The program aims to give practitioners, whether seasoned solicitors, junior barristers, or anyone in between, an overview of current trends in project delivery and valuable insight into the project financing aspect of the P3 delivery model.
