By July 1, post-secondary institutions in Ontario are required to have provisions in place addressing how sexual misconduct by employees towards students will be handled in accordance with Bill 26, the Strengthening Post-Secondary Institutions and Students Act.  

The Bill 26 amendments will significantly alter how institutions approach discipline and discharge of employees in the context of sexual misconduct, and also impact the use of non-disclosure agreements.
