With the aging population in Ontario, it is crucial to remain informed about the intricate legal issues affecting seniors, including long-term care, healthcare decision-making, and other related areas. The Elder Law Case Law and Legislative Insights program offers participants a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of these matters and enhance their ability to advocate for the rights and interests of older adults. This program will bring practitioners up to date on medical assistance in dying (MAiD) and on what is happening with “More Beds, Better Care Act” (Bill 7), as well as other important Case Law updates for those practicing Elder Law.
