- Citing historical and modern treaty examples of Indigenous tax collection
- Reviewing federal legislation authorizing the creation of modern Indigenous tax regimes.
- Explaining how the First Nations Tax Commission helps First Nations and their lawyers set up tax régimes under the First Nations Fiscal Management Act (FMA).
- Telling the story of how an Ontario First Nation successfully set up a property tax régime under the FMA and how other Ontario First Nations are also doing so.
