Alisa Lombard has been researching the doctrine of consent and its emerging shape-shifting across areas of law. With a particular focus on health law, Alisa is specifically interested in the doctrine’s accessibility to oppressed populations, namely Indigenous women, and systemic barriers barring access to the full legal realization of the doctrine as it pertains to their will in practical terms
