Topic:  Surrogacy Law: A consideration of how issues and challenges are handled at birth.

Ellen Embury, a leader in reproductive law in Canada, will discuss her surrogacy law practice, with a focus on issues and considerations that arise at the birth of the baby, such as consent, discharge, and medical decision-making for the baby. Ms. Embury will touch on how problems are addressed at the hospital, and insurance coverage for out of province and out of country parents.
