Synopsis

Two local immigration and refugee lawyers, Laura Best and Randall Cohn, will be speaking about their recent experiences volunteering with migrants at the U.S./Mexico border and in a US detention centre. They will share their experiences and lessons learned, and also highlight the ways in which Canadian lawyers may be able to get involved.

The talk will be followed by a social. For those who are available and interested, we'll go out to grab some food and drinks afterwards so everyone has a chance to catch up and decompress.
