Synopsis

Technology contracting affects virtually every business. Join us in an engaging fireside chat with David Tollen, Jacob Kojfman, and Jayde Wood about top 10 tips and traps when drafting technology agreements and licensing.

Speaker Bios

David Tollen is one of the tech industry's leading authorities – he wrote the perennial American Bar Association bestseller, The Tech Contracts Handbook. David is a lawyer, an expert witness, and an adjunct professor at U.C. Berkeley Law School.

Jacob Kojfman is a business-minded lawyer, with specific experience in technology and commercial law. Jacob is a senior legal counsel at CGI.

Jayde Wood is the Vice Chair of CBA BC Intellectual Property & Technology Law Section. Jayde is an intellectual property lawyer and her practice focuses on the strategic creation, development, and commercialization of IP assets. Starting Monday, November 29; Jayde has joined Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP as an associate.
