PRACTICE AND PITFALLS OF CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL CLAIMS

Synopsis

Fred Wynne and Grady Tyler will provide a general overview of constructive dismissal situations and the applicable legal test, but will focus their discussion on the practical considerations when making and defending constructive dismissal claims, including how employers can avoid and respond to constructive dismissal situations, how and when an employee can elect to treat themselves as being constructively dismissed, the practicalities of mitigation offers, how to measure damages and other practical and legal tips to manage significant changes in the workplace.
