Looking to get caught up on what the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (OIPC) has been up to lately?

Please join us for a lunch meeting with Jeannette Van Den Bulk, Deputy Commissioner for the OIPC. She will provide an update on the OIPC’s recent work and activities, highlight current trends in privacy and access to information, and preview some of the pressing issues facing the Commissioner and his Deputy Commissioners. We hope you can make it!

Bio: As former Executive Director for Privacy, Policy and Legislation for the Integrated Data Office for the Province of British Columbia, Jeannette Van Den Bulk led the privacy and legal components for the development of a corporate data analytics centre for BC. Prior to this role, she spent three years as the Assistant Privacy Commissioner for the State of Victoria, Australia and nine years with the central privacy branch for BC. She is a lawyer in both Canada and Australia with a specialization in legal principles relating to privacy, access, and information management.
