Synopsis
A Mareva injunction is considered an extraordinary order that freezes a party's exigible assets in the jurisdiction prior to judgment.
For our first Section meeting of the Fall, we have invited commercial litigator, Michael Hewitt of Harper Grey LLP, to provide a legal overview of Mareva injunctions, the appropriate test to be applied and their application in the insolvency law context.
