Synopsis
Interested in practicing Aboriginal law but not sure where to start? Curious about what it actually means to practice Aboriginal law? Come hear from a range of Aboriginal legal practitioners working across a range of practice areas (i.e., solicitor work, negotiations, litigation and more) and in a range of settings (i.e., experience in big firms, boutique firms, NGOs, government and in-house). We are looking forward to a candid discussion with current law students. Lawyers, please pass this invite along to any law students you know that are interested in the area.
Territorial Acknowledgement
This event will be broadcast from the traditional and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Musqueam First Nations. We encourage members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous people, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada past and present.
