This session features four panellists with a wealth of knowledge and expertise on the restorative justice legal and policy frameworks as well as community-based practices. The session will focus on how restorative justice is currently applied to support youth in conflict with the law, in pre-charge and post-charge scenarios. The aim is to provide a meaningful introduction to restorative justice options embedded alongside the criminal justice system in British Columbia as well as introduce lawyers to some of the key access points and roles in this field.
