  • What are the common methods used to value businesses?
  • What is "goodwill" and when is it a family asset?
  • What are the key inputs and assumptions that go into most valuation analyses?
  • What are the common mistakes made in expert valuation reports?
  • What documents should be obtained in advance of commissioning an expert valuation report?

Speaker Bio
Kiu Ghanavizchian, CPA, CA, CBV, MBA, is a partner at Blair Mackay Mynett Valuations Inc. and holds the designations of Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator. He specializes in business valuations and has prepared reports in the context of Family Law matters, shareholder disputes, corporate reorganizations, acquisitions and divestitures and estate planning.
