Join us for a day of networking and learning, by either in-person or by webinar attendance, as this conference will be made widely available for all lawyers from different corners of Canada! Hear from leading experts in the immigration field on topics such as tips for preparing for Federal Court, discussions on key provincial-level issues so you are better positioned to help foreign national clients, Foreign Work Permits, Citizenship, and Inadmissibility Issues.

*The Special Rates apply only for Articling Students and Law Students who are members of the CBA, as well for Legal Support Staff whose employer is a member of the CBA. 
(Members are asked to purchase tickets for their legal support staff).

National Immigration Law Conference 2020 Bursary

The CBABC Immigration Law Section has traditionally offered a set number of bursaries to encourage and assist junior lawyers attend the National CBA Immigration Conference.  The National CBA Immigration Conference will be held in Montreal from April 2 – 4, 2020.


Acknowledging First Nations Territories
The CBABC acknowledges that the land from which we gather and host this conference and webinar stream from is the unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, and in particular the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Musqueam Nations, and we encourage  members to explore the rich history and knowledge of Indigenous peoples, and to continue learning about their experience in Canada from the past to the present.

Once payment has been processed there will be no refund issued. To cancel your attendance, please contact the PD Department at No refunds will be issued to non-attendees.
