Bencher Update (with some practice management tips)
This meeting is being hosted by the Immigration Law Section.

CPD Hours: Duration of meeting was 1.5 hours. Of this, 1.5 hours of CPD can be counted towards the Practice Management component to LSBC requirements.
Synopsis
Jeevyn Dhaliwal, QC will be providing a Benchers Update with some practice management tips (from a law society perspective).

Jeevyn Dhaliwal is a solicitor with the immigration boutique, Larlee, Rosenberg, where she practises workplace immigration law. She was first elected as a Bencher in 2014-2015 and was recently re-elected for another term. Jeevyn is very well known in the immigration bar community and has written and presented seminars on a variety of immigration and employment related topics. Jeevyn also serves as a Board member and is past president of the South Asian Bar Association of British Columbia. As selected by her peers, Jeevyn is included in the Best Lawyers publication and she is a Lexpert Zenith Award winner.  She was called to the Bar in 1998.
