Synopsis
Dr. Stewart-Patterson’s presentation will contain the most current medical information as it pertains to COVID-19, evaluating that information through the lens of occupational medicine and returning safely to the worksite.
Practical strategies for returning to the workplace and using thehierarchy of controls (physical, engineering, administrative and PPE) will be shared. An opportunity to ask questions, whether it pertains to your own law firm worksite, or your clients’ worksites, will be available at the end of the webinar.
About Dr. Chris Stewart-Patterson
Dr. Chris Stewart-Patterson is the Director of Occupational Medicine Services with Integra Medical Consulting, a Western Canada based medical consulting agency and IME firm with offices in Vancouver, Kelowna & Edmonton.
Dr. Stewart-Patterson has practiced Occupational Medicine since 1989. He specializes in fitness to work evaluations and return to work advice. He is often consulted by employers for return to work advice for safety critical/sensitive occupations such as railway and transit workers, pipeline workers, and fire, police & corrections officers. Dr. Stewart-Patterson is a course director of “Medical Fitness to Return to Work” for Harvard Medical School. Dr. Stewart-Patterson has been for the past eight weeks consulting with corporations on protecting employees, especially “mission-critical” employees, from the COVID-19 virus. He has training in epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and recent training regarding the COVID-19 virus from the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.
