Synopsis

December 1, 2020 is World AIDS Day. In recognition of this day, SOGIC will present a panel discussion on present issues relating to the Criminalization of HIV in Canada and its impact on people living with HIV. The interdisciplinary panel will include:

  • Dr. Kyle Kirkup, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa
  • Ryan Peck, Executive Director/Lawyer, HIV & AIDS Legal Clinic of Ontario
  • Dr. Paul Gross, MD, Spectrum Health, Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Family Medicine, University of British Columbia
